Pakistan's SECP Marks 39,704 Companies Inactive, Blocking New Bank Accounts
Pakistan's Securities and Exchange Commission (SECP) has marked 39,704 companies as "Inactive by Registrar" after they failed to file annual returns, financial statements or both for four years, a step that blocks them from opening new bank accounts and from accessing certain financial services. According to The Express Tribune, the regulator announced the move in a press release issued on Saturday.
