Ringgit Inches Up Against US Dollar Ahead of Fed Decision
The ringgit closed marginally higher against the US dollar at 4.0875/0915 on July 29, 2026, as investors awaited the FOMC meeting outcome. Bank Muamalat chief economist Dr Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid said the currency remained range-bound, while geopolitical tensions in West Asia pushed crude oil prices higher.
