In my view, the lack of a verified ASIC license is a significant drawback, as it raises concerns about the platform’s trustworthiness. Additionally, the absence of MT4/MT5 support is disappointing, as I prefer these platforms for their advanced features. The high leverage (up to 1:1000) can also be risky if not managed carefully.
The spread at IM Markets is quite tight, starting from 0.1 pips for major pairs like EUR/USD. This is attractive to me as it helps reduce my trading costs. However, spreads may widen during periods of high volatility, so I would always check the latest rates before executing any trades.
IM Markets provides a wide selection of tradable instruments, including forex, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. I appreciate the variety as it allows me to diversify my portfolio. However, the platform doesn’t support stocks or ETFs, which limits some of my trading options if I’m looking for broader asset classes.
