Sun Capital Hong Kong Verified: No Physical Presence Found

Purpose

The foreign exchange market of Hong Kong, China, is an internationalized forex market that developed in the 1970s. Relying on its geographical advantage of being adjacent to the mainland and its mature financial regulatory system, it has gradually become an important global offshore forex trading hub. The market has a high level of trading activity and diverse types of participants, and it is a core region where many international and local forex dealers develop their Asia-Pacific business. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operating conditions of forex dealers in the region, the on-site inspection team traveled to Hong Kong, China, for field visits.

Process

In this issue, the on-site inspection team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Sun Capital. According to public information, its office address is 16/F Harbour Commercial Building, 122-124 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong.

A professional and experienced team, with a sense of mission to act as a strict gatekeeper for investors, traveled to Hong Kong, China according to a well-thought-out plan. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker Sun Capital claiming to be located at 16/F Harbour Commercial Building, 122-124 Connaught Road Central, Hong Kong.

The team successfully arrived at Harbour Commercial Building, which is located in Hong Kong's core Central business district, surrounded by numerous shops and office buildings, with a strong commercial atmosphere. During a full exterior inspection of the building, no company signage or related promotional information containing the words Sun Capital was found; only a complete panoramic exterior view of the building was photographed.

The team entered the building lobby and explained their purpose to the security guard. After a brief visitor registration and communication, they successfully obtained entry permission and were able to freely take the elevator to the corresponding floor.

Upon arriving at the target floor, the 16th floor, the team found that the entire office area on that floor had no obvious signage containing the words Sun Capital, nor any corresponding exclusive office area nameplate. Because no appointment had been made in advance and no contact person from the company was found on site, the team was unable to enter the corresponding office area. No reception desk or reception desk logo was photographed throughout the process, and the premises were not a shared office.

The team inspected the public areas of the floor; the corridor walls and the door plates at the entrances of various offices did not indicate any information related to Sun Capital. They were unable to enter the company's interior throughout the process and could not observe the so-called internal office environment.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker Sun Capital does not exist at the above address. Upon arrival, the address was confirmed to be correct, but no information about the broker was found. When asked, the security guard said that there was no such company, and it was judged to be fake.

Conclusion

As planned, the on-site survey team went to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Sun Capital. At its publicly disclosed business address, the team could not see the broker's company name or other information, indicating that the broker does not have genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
